i’m writing a lot of songs lately, and also we’ve started on some new prada jams so that’s exciting.. (technically chris has, but i urgently need to add to them as i hear parts whenever he shows them to me)

i’ve never really missed a city like i miss chicago. it’s just such a sweet place, the downtown is clean but big, city feel but not trashy like NYC (no offense!). the sports fans in the bars on every corner, the leaves falling from the trees everywhere, being able to ride the train or the bus if you don’t want to drive, and not feeling homeless in the process. my neighborhood is a blast with tons of cool places to hang out and go out and eat too, and the dog park, the park at the end of our street, the roser’s condo, the beach, navy pier, the skyline with the hancock and the sears as you’re driving into the city at night, blue line red line brown line, i miss it all.

i watched casino a few nights ago, and two of the godfather movies. i’m getting in a bit of a gangster flick mode, though i could use some clint eastwood as well. i’m bummed because my hard drive doesn’t have all my bond movies on it, D’OH! how could i be so stupid!

music and movies really run my life.
